Sunday Greenhills

A couple of weeks ago, Dale asked me to go with him to Greenhills. He told me there was a holiday. I thought it was a Friday... Monday pala yung holiday! So he went over last Saturday night. Our main plan was go to Greenhills as early as possible. I was expecting the heavy traffic and difficult parking inside Greenhills, specially now that its Christmas season and people are shopping like its an epidemic. And with payday just gone by, and a holiday the next day... we MUST go to GH early!!

But as usual, we woke up late!

We ended up leaving the house after lunch time. We rung up Pilep, and they asked us if we could fetch them. The good Samaritan that I am, *cough* *cough*, I complied. Hahaha! And pagdating namin sa house ni Pilep, naliligo pa lang!! Langya! Hahaha! So we played with the cat outside muna, and watched a bit of Transporter 2 on the TV.

After everything was set, we left for GH. And grabe! Exactly what I imagined! NO PARKING SLOTS!! We lost a lot of time just circling around for parking, pero full na ang car park. I thought of going to Robinson's Galleria, park there, then ride a jeep towards GH nalang.

Seems like the perfect idea, right? Well fuck, the Galleria carpark was also FULL! We ended up circling around Basement 1, 2, and 3 for a VERY long time before we finally got a parking space!

Much to our surprise, Myk was able to park in GH!! Hahaha! It's actually beneficial to us too kasi we're going to hitch a ride with Myk back to Galleria later that night. ;p

So yun, after we got to GH and met up with Myk, we went shopping around. Daming tao sobra. Dale was looking for rubber shoes so we accompanied him. We also looked around for clothes. May nagustuhan kami ni Dale.. a jacket that looks like what James Bond was wearing in Quantum of Solace. Mahal nga lang... around 2k... totally not worth the price. We also agree that Edward from Twilight wore a really good pea coat so we also looked around in hopes of finding something like it! Hahaha!

Later that evening, we decided to eat at Mexicali. My absolute favorite (i'm gonna blog about it someday! haha) . I just don't know if the others liked it though. Hahaha!

Afterwards, the others (Pilep, Che, and Myk) wanted to watch Twilight kasi hindi pa nila napapanuod. Sa akin okay lang because Myk is treating me (and in truth, masakit na ang paa ko sa kakalakad plus yung horrifying parking gig earlier that day). Dale begged off to watch it again. Sayang raw ang pera! Haha! I was trying to convince him to watch nalang kasi medyo matagal siya mag-aantay sa amin if ever. Talagang ayaw. Mag-shopping nalang daw siya sa night bazaar.

So yun, while waiting for the movie, we went muna sa night bazaar. Nagkasalisi pa nung una kasi Dale and I went to the CR while the others waited outside. Paglabas namin, hindi namin sila nakita. Dale assumed na nauna na raw sila sa night bazaar! Haha! I told Dale to text them kasi baka nga nagkasalisi lang. Once we're at the bazaar, we bumped into Che! Inaantay nga raw nila kami tapos bigla kaming nawala!! Haha!

About the bazaar, SOBRANG dami ng tao. And yeah, some of the stuff were dirt cheap pero hindi rin kasing ganda nung mga items na tinitinda talaga nila in regular GH tiangges.

All in all, I was able to buy a Wayfarer with faded lens, and a 100 peso shirt. Dale bought a Wayfarer, rubber shoes, and a couple of shirts and a jacket from the bazaar. Good buy na rin. Che also bought a couple of stuffs... bigla nalang nawawala, yun pala nasa isang tiangge na! Haha!

Then yun, we watched Twilight (second time around for me... Thanks Myk! ;p). Naiihi na kami ni Myk sa gitna ng movie but we decided to hold it nalang until the movie was over. Haha!

Going home, we asked Myk to give us a lift to Galleria where we parked the car. Problem is, sarado na yung mall kasi its 1am in the morning na. So the guard just told us to go through the carpark entrance. And for god's sake, nawala kami sa loob! We forgot where we parked! Haha! So after a couple of wrong turns and all, we got to the car and drove home (gave Pilep and Che a ride).

Pag dating namin ni Dale sa bahay, galit sa akin si mama. I forgot my cellphone that day so I couldn't answer any of her text and calls. I also read a couple of the messages. There's even one from Ade so I asked Dale if he was able to contact her na. (@ade: baka busy lang siya sa shopping that time kaya hindi mo siya ma-contact! haha)

And at home, you thought we went straight to sleep? Hindi noh! Facebook Wrestler muna!!! Hahahaha!
