another saturday passed by..

Saturday morning, and my head is splitting. Major headache. To think that I gnarled on Advils the night before. The sad part was I have to go to the grocery with my sister that same morning. Driving with a hurting head is really annoying, specially when there's traffic. *Traffic on Saturday morning?! What the fuck?!*

In the afternoon, I went to Trinoma to go and meet the guys from PinoyPSP. It was their EB, and one of them invited me. I couldn't say no because the day before, that same guy helped me do the firmware upgrade for my PSP, all via YM. What I need to pay for 500 bucks, I got for free. So I really couldn't say no.

The EB was supposed to be at Starbucks, 2pm. It so happens that it was raining, and HARD! And once again, the traffic caught up with me. I got there around 4pm. Another thing is that there was no parking.. the only parking space I got was on the open rooftop parking! I had to run from the car towards the mall! Haay! I was soooo wet! Akala siguro ng mga tao, wet look talaga ang style ko. Haha.

I ended up not going to the EB. Why? Because I'm all wet and look like crap. And it's like, 4:30pm already. And besides, I really don't know them personally... remember, I only got to talk to the guy via YM. So, identifying them is kinda hard... and how the hell would I introduce myself?! "Hi, I'm Fil.. I'm usually a lurker in your forums, but then this guy helped me and invited me to the EB!" Hahaha!

I hope that guy didn't harbor any hard feelings for my no-show. At least I left him an online message apologizing for my absence.

To be honest, I'm really not a big fan of meeting people from the net and going for an EB. The last time I did that was when I was still in high school, when I was still chatting via mIRC. I thought then that it was cool picking up girls via chat. Even my HS barkadas would invite me if they had their very own set up EB! Haha! Believe me, it almost always ended up bad. Hahaha!
