badtrip+badluck

At 1:30am this morning, we rushed my sister to the hospital. Apparently, the lower back pains she was complaining in recent days about has become unbearable. And driving there (to the hospital) was a challenge! The rain shower was massive! It's the strongest fucking rain I've ever seen while inside a vehicle! I can hardly see anything outside! I am in no way exaggerating! It's like seeing everything outside your windshield as a blur! Really, nakakatakot. We had the emergency signal on throughout!

My mom and sis slept on the hospital bed, while I sat on the chair. I can't sleep! I'm not one of those people who can manage to fall asleep on a chair (unless I was REALLY tired). Instead, I brought along my PSP which helped me pass the time until it's battery gave out. It was already 7am and still no feedback from the hospital laboratory about my sis's urine analysis. When the reports finally came, it said that the urine is ok. But the doctor decided that my sis undergo CT Scan to check if she has something. And then it appeared.

Seems that there was something blocking her urinary tracts though they still could not identify it yet. But most probably, it is a Gall-bladder stone, the doctor said. Now, I went home ahead of them because my mom felt that I was the one who wasn't able to rest. I think she's planning to confine my sister to the hospital. I'll most probably get back there later. I hope everything goes ok after the 'more thorough check up'.

Now, this is the reason why I always tell my close friends and love ones to go to the doctor and have themselves checked up. An annual check up won't hurt. Just imagine that our family have annual checkups, but this kind of thing still happened! Now, imagine... paano pa kaya yung mga hindi nagpapacheck up!? Di ba?! Kaya wag na matigas ang ulo! Don't let this happen to you. It hurts for someone to suddenly know that they have some kind of ailment, specially if they least expect it. I know just by looking at my sister's face.

Subsequently, our Bangkok trip which is supposedly tomorrow is postponed. I initially told my mom to postpone the trip because I was worried that my sis' ailment might 'creep' through. It's hard to get ill at a foreign place. Believe me, I know.

I really need to get some sleep now but the problem is, I can't. I don't feel sleepy but I can feel my body is weakened... specially that dastardly headache that's happening to me now. It feels like a drill, banging on my skull. Gotta go now. Try to get some rest so I can go back to the hospital later. Pray for my sister.
