San Buenaventura clan reunion
Last December 30, it was another San Buenaventura clan reunion... my mom's side of the family. Kinda late considering we always have the reunion usually before Christmas day. This time, the reunion is held at the Manila Country Club in Alabang.
Tita Tess and family, who are all based in Indonesia because of business, is here for the holidays. Since it was also Tita Tess and Tito Popo's "nth" wedding anniversary, they decided to hold the reunion at the posh Manila Country Club.
Nobody from the clan was missing. Everybody is actually present, now that I think about it. It was great seeing my cousins from Tita Tess again. Last time I saw them, it was still last July when they came home to practice driving school. There's the twins, Toni and Caloy, who are all SO big now! Then there's Bea who's blooming to a gorgeous woman as each year pass. She's just 19, and she's studying in the States so it's great that she was able to come home for the holidays. And last but not the least, there's Ate Tin-Tin whom I haven't seen for a LONG time. She studied in New York rin kasi for several years so hindi siya pwede makauwi that much since the plane tickets are expensive. She'll be staying na raw here in the Philippines for good, starting next month. :)
Aside from them, there's my two favorite cousin! Jon and EJ! ;p
After the reunion was over, I went over to Tita Vick's house. Jon invited me to sleep over kasi. May surprise kasi siya! LOL!
JON's SAMSUNG HIGH-DEFINITION TV
Before we left the house for the reunion, Jon called me and asked if I wanted to sleep over at their house after the party. He told me that he finally bought a High Definition TV! And that ibang iba raw yung quality ng PS3 dun sa TV! *That alone excited me* ;p
So after we got to their house, I finally got to see the TV! ANG LAKI!!!!!!!! I didn't expect him to buy an HD-TV THAT big! 46 inches! LOL! He said, he got it for 50K via the zero interest, 12-gives promo of a credit card. Anyways, nalula talaga ako! Hehe! And he wasn't kidding when he told me that the PS3's graphics have a MUCH greater effect on an HD TV! Games we were playing on his PS3 on a regular TV before looked much much better! It's like playing a different game altogether! WOW! (OK, I'm a bit geeking out too much here! Hehe)
The next day, I went home. My mom picked me up kasi dinala niya rin yung chocolate cake for Tita Vick. I was supposed to meet Mark and Ed in Greenhills kaso "kinonsensya" na ako ni mama eh! Badtrip! Haha!
Struggling with an IPOD
Ever since I bought a PSP, I lost interest to buy an IPOD altogether. But when EJ bought a brand new IPOD Touch, he decided to sell his old and barely used 4th gen monochrome Ipod with 20 GB memory. When he went to GH, sabi raw hanggang 2k lang niya mabebenta. Tita Vick asked me instead if I could find a buyer, kasi masyado raw atang mura yung 2K for that. I suggested my sister. Binili nga ng ate ko! Hehe! Since it was a relative who bought it, my Tita still gave it for 2k nalang rin. A steal! Hehe!
Now last night, I tried uploading new songs on the IPOD. I like EJ's songs so I don't want to delete them. Imagine my surprise when I learned that you can only upload from a single computer! That means you can't go from PC to PC, copying songs from your friends! If ever you decided to upload from a new PC, *EVERY* song from your IPOD will get formatted and overwritten with the new songs you're trying to upload from the new PC. ****APPLE SUCKS!
Buti nalang Ed gave me a program to copy songs FROM the Ipod and TO the PC. That means, I'm just gonna "back-up" the songs from the Ipod into my PC, and then reformat the Ipod nalang with my PC. So much for plug and play! ;(
