something creepy...

So we were on the car (my mom, ate, and me) on the way to some handyworks tiannge somewhere in Dapitan when we suddenly talked about our first house here in Filinvest 2. The house that got burned down.

It was my mom's dream house. It was big, spacious, and grand... had a big garden and a great kitchen. In short, it was everything my mom wished for. She saved up all her hard work for that, after all. Then one night in '94, it burned down to the ground.

So back to our discussion inside the car, each one of us shared what we felt that faithful night before the house burned down come midnight.

I told them that I felt sick. I was asleep even before 7pm. I can still remember that night like it was just yesterday. My head felt heavy that I felt the need to sleep right after having dinner. When I woke up, my mom is dragging my hand towards the emergency exit with smoke all over the place.

Then my mom suddenly reacted, "Ikaw din!?". I was surprised. She began telling her part. She told us that she also wasn't feeling well, and for some reasons, my dad and her was fighting daw that night...

Then here comes the creepy part...

My ate told us that she saw a BATTALION of worms coming out of the kitchen sink that night!!! She told us that she will never forget that night!

Tangina, parang Amityville haunted house! Haha!

It also reminded what my dad told me years after we moved in our new (current) house... he said that there were some bad elements/spirits lurking in that house. Even the architect told my parents pala about it. It seems the karpinteros experienced something while they were building the house.

As much as I loved that house, I guess I won't settle living in that again with all those experiences. Even my mom said that the house getting burnt down is a blessing in disguise. Maybe she knows something I don't know.

After the tragedy, we moved in to my Tita Vick's house in Mandaluyong. After which we bought a new house right in Filinvest 2 again. Although our house now is not that big (almost just 1/4 of the burnt house), I would rather stay here than go back to the old one. ;p

Yeah... even if my sister says that she sees ghosts passing by in and out of my room! Haha! Thank god my third eye was shut when I was a kid... ;p
