Busy Weekend - Sunday - (Another) San Buenaventura - Tanquintik Reunion
Thinking about it, it's not just a simple San Buenaventura reunion. This time around kasi, it's more centered around the Tanquintik (chinese) side of the family.
Kinontrata na ako ni mama as early as Friday so I couldn't back out. So there I was, puyat and all, waking up and taking a bath. Next thing I know, I'm on the car onwards to ParaƱaque and to the reunion.
I must say though that it feels like a really different reunion. This is the first time I saw these people errr... relatives. Hehe! Yeah, there's the usual San Buenaventura cousins with the exception of my sister (she's sick) as well as Jon (who had a project to finish).
Most of the people there are old! Haha. They're my mom's first cousins. So yeah, the San Buenaventura-Tanquintik lineage. They're based in the States so it's pretty rare meeting them. It's actually the first time I've met them.
After all the chitchats (and the old peeps, dancing AND singing), we (the younger ones) were left there bored! Haha! I, instead, talked to my cousins all throughout. I was with EJ, Bea, and the twins all throughout. EJ and I talked about school and how he's coping up in DLSU... and how it sucks that his new trimester is starting tomorrow! Haha! Besides that, we talked about booze and how we're planning to go to Bora this summer (Bea pitched the idea)!
Aside from EJ, Bea also shared her experiences studying in the States. What she does with her spare time and all. Tonico, Bea's bro, and I talked about movies... like how the upcoming Castlevania, Dragonball, and Tekken movies are destined to fail! LOL!
Anyway, the reunion was ok... though I think we overstayed for a bit. EJ and I was sooooo bored!!!! We were even joking about who gets to leave first! Haha! ;p
It was great meeting the relatives though, so it's still a pleasure. Just feeling a bit tired now. I think I'm gonna sleep earlier than usual tonight. ;p
