Rowena Vilar is Anita

And yes, I'm still raving about Stages Production's West Side Story.

As of yesterday, I was still not sure who played Anita during the September 12 performance. One thing is for sure though, she stole the show! I became a big fan so I went all over the Internet, blog hopping and all. Even YouTube was not spared.

When I checked my email tonight, I saw a of couple messages regarding who played Anita last Friday. Haha!

The first feed back was from Mr. Oliver Oliveros, the PR for Stages. I posted on his BLOG, and he was kind enough to respond (and send an email) regarding my query. :)

Next one was from TheBachelorGirl, whom I messaged via her YouTube account. She was kind enough to give a link to a Multiply account (Avenue GR) with bajillions of the production's pictures.

And it is confirmed. Last Friday's Anita is Ms. Rowena Vilar. I am now a big fan!! LOL! Hopefully, she gets to do more projects here in Manila (I heard she's based in Australia). She is such a fantastic talent!

So if you haven't watched the Stages' musical yet, go see it now! Ms. Vilar is just one of the MANY talents from the show. I'm actually thinking of watching it again, wishing to see Ms. Joanna Ampil as Maria naman instead of Karylle, but I heard that the tickets are almost all sold out now. :(
