saturday -- later that day

after the UST guys left, Dale decided to sleep over so ayun.. i taught him how to drive! ang galing ni Dale.. i think i it just took us an hour of teaching tapos marunong na siya magpatakbo ng kotse ngayon! i really thought na matatagalan kami sa clutch part.. lalo na sa pagtimpla ng clutch at gas pero sandali lang kay Dale yun! maybe just 15 mins! he's such a fast learner.. even though mejo maalog pa yung driving niya, practice nalang talaga ang kailangan niya.. ganon naman talaga dba! kudos to my nigga Dale for a job well done! syempre magaling yung teacher eh! hehe..

then nung gabi, Dale and I decided to go to the Filinvest 2 Clubhouse for the Halloween festivities! it turns out na ginawa nilang theater yung basketball court.. naabutan namin ni Dale yung The Ring (english version) and House of Wax. ok sana pero medyo madilim yung resolution nung projector.. it was hard to make up of what's happening during the dark parts of the movie. then yung badminton court ginawa nilang haunted house! pasok sana kami ni Dale kaso last batch na nung gabi kaya hindi na kami umabot!

masaya sana kaso na-disappoint kami ni Dale kasi walang chicks! walang panalo eh! hahahaha! yung lang kasi talaga yung habol namin eh, mag sight seeing sana ng mga chicks! hahaha! neways, we still had a great time!

saturday -- basketball

last friday, it was 10am but my ass was still asleep when suddenly a call from my celfone roused me out of slumber.. "hello, Fil?", the voice said. i was like, "oi.." without even realizing who it was.. then i followed, "oi, cnu 'to?". then the guy replied, "si Myk 'to.. tulog ka pa ata.. tawag nalang ako maya.." in which i followed, "cge pre". when i dropped the call, sabi ko sa sarili ko... sinong 'Myk'? hahaha.. si Myk Go pala! hindi ko kasi nabosesan si Myk eh.. it turns out na he's calling from his office.. nag oorganize siya ng basketball for saturday! buti nalang naisipan niya magbasketball naman kasi puro DOTA na sila! hehe..

so nung saturday, andito sina Myk, Malcolm (Myk's bro), 3 of Myk's friends, Dale, Ed, Anthony, and Marc Go! haha.. the real surprise was Marc! hindi kasi masyado sumasama yun sa mga gmik during college days pero ngayon napaka active na! haha. we played basketball.. ang galing ni Marc, tuwing open shot niya, napapasok lahat! haha. then after i airballed 2 shots and drilled a 3pt shot, we called it quits after a snotty guard made us leave the court (sa Northview court kasi kami kasi may Halloween Party sa Filinvest 2 Court). back in the house, Myk and the gang ordered KFC.. treat nila! haha.

after the kwentuhan, Myk offered to help with our thesis problems. iba talaga mag isip itong si Michael. talagang bilib talaga ako dito dati pa! together with Ed and the rest.. mejo nabuhayan ako sa tulong nila. after we ate.. Myk and his gang left na.. while the UST guys were left behind para makipag chikahan pa! hehehe.

pet peeves

nyaaah! now im gonna make a list of things that annoy me..

1. people who take things for granted..
2. people/places that smell bad.. (yung mga walang pakialam kung maka apekto ng iba.. kung likas na mabaho talaga, sige hindi counted un.. hehe)
3. mga maaarte.. lalo na yung pananalita.. yung mga 'style anne curtis' mag salita.. for some reasons it really boils my blood! it may be cute to others but its not to me..
4. mga mayayabang.. ok lang sana kung may ipagyayabang pero kung wala, shut up nalang! hehehe.
5. mga tamad! bawal ang tamad maliban sa akin.. pag napapansin ko na may mas tamad pa kesa sa akin, nagagalit ako!!! grrrrr.. haha
6. mga nagtatanim ng galit! if you really want to make things over, then swallow your pride and make peace.. kung ayaw mo ng ganon, pabayaan mo nalang.. dont make things na magpapalala pa ng mga sitwasyon.
7. yung mga taong sinusuyo ko na pero lalo pa akong binubulyawan.. pag ginawa mo sakin ito SASAPAKIN kita.. pramis.. seryoso.. walang halong 'hehe' ito..
8. mga usisera at intrigera.. ok lang mag-tsismisan kung totoo (but keep it to yourselves nalang) pero kung nde totoo at inimbento lang.. langya ka.. haha..
9. mga taong walang isang salita.. yung mga tipong iiwan ka sa ere.
10. mga power trippers.. yung mga nasa taas na tumatapak tapak sa mga nasa baba.. antayin nyo.. parang gulong ang buhay.. mamaya kami naman ang nasa taas.. sisiguraduhin ko na magsusuot ako ng GOLF shoes para masakit sakit ang pagtapak ko!
11. mga walang consideration! yung alam na yung sitwasyon mo tapos wala pa ring konsiderasyon.. tuloy pa rin ang pagpapahirap..
12. mga gago na alam nila na mali yung ginagawa nila pero tuloy pa rin kasi tingin nila cool maging gago.. hoy! hindi ka na 7 yrs old! gago!

..at marami pa.. sa susunod ko nalang isusulat uli pag naalala ko.. mejo naglalabas lang ako ng stress ngaun kasi mejo pressured ako.. hehe.

let me start this day's posts by congratulating Philip, co-Bakal Boys, for graduating!!! langya ka pre, nauna ka pa sa amin ni Dom!! haha. kudos to you pre. buti ka pa tapos na ang paghihirap mo! :)

and because he graduated, he threw a graduation bash last friday. grabe, yun na ata yung pinaka masaya na party na napuntahan ko in recent times (lalo na kasi sobrang lungkot at miserable ko ng mga panahon na ito!). i don't drink much too these times pero napainom uli ako ng marami sa party ni Pilep! grabe, ang saya kasi halos nakumpleto uli ung Bakal (minus Jem, Drey, and Pay). syempre dahil lasing lasing na, ayun... nagwawala na kami sa videoke! hahaha! ang saya talaga! when i woke up the day after, wow, hangover! :)

happy--sad--HAPPY!!!

hello there! been a while since i last blogged! so much has happened since my last post. i'll tell the story by following the order of the thread topic. first up, i was happy because: the UST Growling Tigers has beaten the Ateneo Blue Eagles for the UAAP Basketball Championship!! the whole university was practically overjoyed (for lack of a better word) for that win!! there was celebration everywhere! UST merchandise sold like hotcakes after the win, and the varsity players became like celebrities overnight! ya, it was crazy! another great thing was the celebration bash for the players which i've attended! it was a concert which featured bands like Join The Club, Soapdish.. and.. drumrolls.. Parokya ni Edgar and Kamikazee all for free! the only sad thing about that was there was no free food! but it was great overall! we rocked 'til night up until the finale with Kamikazee and PNE singing 'Narda'.. and then suddenly a big rainshower occured! we're all wet but satisfied! :) i was with Jayvee, Jayson (Larin), Howard, and Runie (albeit only a short time) that night.

another part of the 'happy' moments was my dad's birthday just last october 6. my mom organized a caterer for the event which had our relatives and friends coming. the funny part was, more of my friends came than my dad's so my relatives were teasing me like i was the one with the birthday party! haha. i wasn't planning on inviting any of my friends originally (with the exception of Dom) because of just the sudden declaration that there will be a party. biglaan lang kasi. my mom just told me about having a party just 3-4 days before the actual party. but that same morning, i met up my friends at school. so i invited them.. although only Onin, Dale, Maki, and Anthony made it. Dom and Jeff followed later that evening. it was fun seeing my friends.

another fun thing was also seeing my cousins again that night. there was Jon, my closest cousin! i missed him. it was like ages ago when i last talked to him. and what more, he gave me his copy of Final Fantasy XII!!! that game is supposed to come out next month but he already managed to have a copy! he never fails to amaze me! i always appreciated the fact he was always thoughtful of me. he always lend me things. he's like my best friend which i don't get to see regularly. yeah, it's kinda odd that we're cousins, close cousins at that, but we rarely see each other. well, blame it on our sched! there was also EJ, Jon's younger brother. although we didn't get to talk much that time ('cause i was busy attending to the guests) it was still nice to see him again. i bet i can't win a game of basketball against him now. i heard he became real good! besides them, there was Sharl and Len, my cousins (or should i say nephews) from my dad's side of the family. i call them cousins 'cause we're on the same age group but technically, they're my nephews. haha.

now, the sad part. the sad part comes from this week! FINALS WEEK! tadadada! let me start off this Monday. i hardly slept this Monday 'cause i was reviewing for OR. i knew i was going to fail anyways but i wanted to study so my grades on the final test won't be that embarrasing. when i took the test next day, my head hurts! but i thought i answered most of questions. then came Wednesday. i reviewed Cobol this time. just like last time, i had scarcely a time to sleep. the next day, i felt terrible.. i really had a hard time with the test! then later that afternoon, the OR grades were released! i was dumbfounded when i saw my test scores! it was so low! lower than low tide! i just can't believe i didn't solve some of those problems correctly! now today, Friday. i was so miserable that i can't believe i'm gonna fail 2 subjects out of three this semester! on top of that, our thesis proposal is not yet OK!!! i know i screwed up this semester but this is way too much!! i felt like a moron! i ended up sleeping all day then watched some DVDs to amuse myself.

then the 'happy' part came again. i know today is Friday the 13th.. but it came off good for me!!! after borrowing my mom's laptop, i set it up here in my room, activated the wireless internet, opened my email account, and there it was! the FINAL GRADES for COBOL! my heart raced faster! as i open the Excel worksheet, i braced myself for the sad reality that was eating me up all day. when i looked up my student number, there showed: PASSED!!!! wow!! all my miseries we're gone for a moment! i can't believe this. i am so genuinely happy. ma'am cha has made my night! thank you ma'am! :)

bagyong milenyo

the recent week was kinda surreal. there came the storm 'milenyo' which caused suspension of schools. as early as thursday. it was wednesday when the news broke that there will be no class the day after. it was kinda weird because wednesday was practically a nice weather day so you'll wonder why they suspend so early. incidentally, wednesday night was our sleep over night for our SE project. Ronnell, Roland, Richard, Jayvee, and Dom was here all night. yeah, there was minor winds and all pero hindi pa rin ako impressed sa so-called storm. come thursday morning, ang lakas na ng hangin!!! but to think that they hyped this storm so much, the winds didn't impressed me that much, and there was so little rain too. then came the black out. from 11am thursday until 5pm friday, there was absolute darkness. walang kuryente! it hindered us from working and instead, we ate and ate, then slept and slept! haha. then i saw the newspapers. grabe, ang lakas pala talaga nung bagyo! tumaob pala yung mga kotse! grabe. then up until friday afternoon when they decided to go home nalang muna, voila! the electricity comes. parang nag bakasyon lang lahat kami dito sa bahay! haha.

then yesterday, mom and i decided to go to Quiapo to buy some dvds since the cable is still off. sobrang bored na si papa kaya we decided to go buy something to watch. ayun, namakyaw kami ng dvd ni mama si Quiapo! haha. nag sight seeing na rin kami dun! :)

on other news, since walang cable, hindi ko alam yung result ng UAAP finals game 2 matchup of ADMU and UST. i decided to net it. UST def. ADMU 87-71! grabe! lupet nun ah! here comes game 3! :)
