--memory gap--

I seem to have forgotten a few events. I'm still trying to remember though. This post will serve as a filler. Next event will be my dad's birthday. I'll just continue the blog marathon later... need to sleep na since its 2:30 in the morning!

Maki's Surprise

Now this one was a sledgehammer. The type that you never see coming, and when it hits, BOOM. lol

Friday that week, the decided to go to Trinoma. Mag-pizza daw! lol. I was attending to something that day so I came late na. I finally caught up with the guys in Yellow Cab. I think si Ed yata yung nagpa-pizza.

Then unang hirit pag dating ko: "Si Mark iiwan na tayo! Pupunta na din ng Singapore!"

BOOM! At least Ed provided us a time cushion long enough before he left. Hahaha! ;p

Turned out, Mark was contacted by a Singapore based company that week's Tuesday morning (the day of our first defense), but didn't told us that time yet because it wasn't a done deal pa. Then I think he got the confirmation that evening that he was accepted! ;p

Of course we were all surprised that Mark will also be leaving us, following Ed's footsteps. I can only imagine Donna's feelings when she learned. :(

It was a major decision by Mark. Even though he knows na iiwan niya si Donna and his friends, he was doing it to save up for the future. Silang dalawa rin ni Donna ang mag-benefit dun. :)

Back on topic. After the pizza, we went around the mall until we settled in Time Zone. We played some games there including that wacky train pumping game! LOL! You have to keep pumping to keep your vehicle running on that train rails... nakalimutan ko yung tawag dun.. yung parang padyak na nakikita mo sa mga riles.. haha! First, it was Che and I who were playing. Dale was amused so we teamed up for a second game! lol

Afterwards, nagkayayaan kina Maki. Inuman raw. Last inuman before Ed returns to Singapore. At eto ang grabe, ako lang ang may dala ng car that night so LAHAT sumakay sa akin! Hahaha! Grabe, I think 9 lahat lahat ang sumiksik sa kotse! Haha! Rollcall: Me (driver), Dale, Ade, Che, Pilep, Mark, Donna, Ed, and Leslie! Buti rin pala na hindi na nakasama kina Mark si Oninz and Joy! Haha!

Kandungan eh, kaya yung mga guys hanggang tenga ang ngiti! Hahahaha! ;p

First Defense

Finally, the day that I thought would never come has arrived-- the defense. And we were a big pile of mess! lol

We had it on September 23rd, a Tuesday. The reason I wasn't able to go to Myk's condo gimmick that Sunday was because to prepare for this shit. And to think, I SHOULD have gone to the Myk gimmick instead! Haha!

Just imagine having your defense in about an hour and your group mates are still completing test cases! Then you review your docu and found that there was a major typo in there (like a dead end on a program flowchart). It's infuriating, it's frustrating... but hell, I guess everyone goes through that at some point! ;p

I was actually losing my cool even before the defense started. I mean, I did my part... everything to a tee. So having to think of a big possibility of failing because others did not do their work is really demoralizing and agonizing (okay, too much "zings" there.. ;p)

It was then that Pilep arrived! A large morale booster there! I really owe it to that guy even though I haven't really told him personally that yet! ;p

With Pilep there, at least I had someone to share my sentiments that very moment. He assured me that its going to be fine! Naks, koyang koya talaga!! Hahaha!! jk ;p

And then there were all the other guys who also went there (for us or for DOTA?!?!!! lol jk)--Dale, Mark, Ed (with Leslie), Myk, and even Anthony (who just came back from the States). We all met them after the defense. Thanks for all the support. :)

Then there's also all the people who chatted on ym, and texted on SMS, just to wish us luck.

One notable well wisher was Ade! Haha! She texted me a few minutes before Pilep arrived (just around the time I was losing my cool). It was something like: "do your best, konting hirap nalang, kaya mo yan, wham burger (lol!)"...

...and I started to conjure a reply message and I was like: "Mukhang sablay ngayon, badtrip si ganyan, ganito kasi, mukhang malabo, delayed ang wham (lol!)"... basta super haba yung reply ko...

Then after I press send ----- CHECK OPERATOR SERVICES. Hahahaha! Badtrip! ;p

Baaack on the defense, it wasn't so bad. We presented, they listened. Basing from their reactions during defense time, you'll think that everything was going smoothly. I was actually surprised that they eventually asked us to do a re-defense. Thinking about it after, I think they were reasonable enough. There's an incorrect HTML structure after all.

Right after, we went and met up with the others. Mejo exhausted, badtrip, disappointed during that time.. pero carry pa rin. :)

"Koya" Pilep's 25th

Ok, so it wasn't really his 1231278934th Birthday! But still, Fifi, you're older than us!! Koya!!!! Nyahahaha! (this is my blog so anything with "DICK-O" on it will NOT be published! Biased! If you want, you can make your own blog!! Haha!)

Pilep's birthday was actually on the 18th of September, but he celebrated it on that week's Saturday. It was perfect actually--Ed's arrival party, then Pilep's birthday celeb the next day.

As usual in Pilep's birthday, daming food and booze! Hanggang ngayon, natatandaan ko pa rin yung lengua! Haha! And yung barbecue and spaghetti... mga primary na tinira ko that night! lol!

And besides the usual videoke, Che brought along her Nintendo Wii! Ang saya! Hehe! The Wii is really great for party games because it also caters for the casual gamers (people who don't really play games). Medyo nakakapagod nga lang kung tumagal. ;p

Some of the things I still remember were:

*Eduard turning into a goddamned 'Butterfly'! LOL!!! After a bazillion bottles of beer, a million shots of Cuervo, and thousand sips of Johnny Walker... Ed bid us farewell and introduced us to Madame Butterfly! Haha! Goodtimes!! ;p

*Kwentuhan galore. This is the thing that I always like more-- sitting besides friends and talking about just anything. :) It ended up when Myk had a one on one talk with Tito (Fifi's dad)! lol

*"Che! Where are you Che!?" Just as me and Myk were about to leave, Che was nowhere to be found!! Yun pala nasa banyo!! Ang tagal!! Hahaha! She was trying to detoxify herself pala. Myk and I were worried when she puked, but after reassuring us that she's gonna be alright, we went home na.

There's supposed to be another gimmick planned before, like a Tagaytay trip or something, but it never pushed through. They all decided to go over to Myk's condo in Makati to go swimming instead. I wished I could come that day, but I had to take care of thesis stuff.

Ed's Back! (and left again a few weeks ago! lol)

I can't believe I am just writing about this just now! lol!

Ed came back in the Philippines around mid-September for about a little over a week. Bakal has been anxiously awaiting for that day since he's been gone for like 6 months already! I think the last time Ed saw me, I still had very long hair. Nakakatuwa si Ed, parang wala pa ring pinagbago! Haha!

We all stormed his house the exact date he arrived! Dinner and inuman!! Haha! He even surprised us with his 'naughty' gifts! Taeng glow in the dark modnocs yan! Haha! Dom was actually furious because she didn't get her share of those 'penis straws' which Ed gave to the girls! Hahaha!

Oh, and Ed gave us a taste of Tiger Beer... a famous beer from Singapore. Me personally, I much prefer pinoy beer! Haha! Medyo matabang kasi sa panglasa ko eh... pero I think Drey liked it. Kanya kanyan preference siguro.

Even though it was a beer session, it ended early... around 12am siguro. The reason was because may isa pang happening the next day... "Koya" Pilep's 14875765416th Birthday!!! LOL!

i'm back to blogging!

I'm back from my self imposed blog hiatus!! :)

I actually had time to blog again a week or two before but couldn't. Maybe its some kind of writer's block (naaks!) or something. Haha!

Che was right when she told me its gonna be hard to write all the things that I saved up 'til now. I actually can't remember the details on most of them!! Damn! Haha! So don't expect detailed blogs for the mean time. ;p
