Yez! The shortest booze session evarrr that I've ever had! Haha!

We went to 1611, a bar/resto in P.Noval after school to celebrate Mark's (Miraflor) birthday! We went in around 3:30pm and by 5:00pm, we were done! Ang bilis! Parang di ko naramdaman yung Red Horse sa lalamunan ko! Haha! Kailangan kasi umalis ni Mark kasi may family dinner pa ata siya.

It was fun though! Inuman, gaguhan, joke time, kwentuhan... all crammed in an hour and a half. The roll call consisted of Me, Mark (the birthday boy!), JM, Rojan, Tristan, Arvin, Favs, Race, and the others. I had a great time bonding with these people kasi ngayon ko lang nakilala at naging close yung mga "lower years" (CS Batch 2007). Enjoy kahit medyo bitin! Kahit si Jhonie hindi umabot! Haha! ;p

PSP-- I want!

I've been wishing to buy a Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) for some time now. Ever since I've learned that it can emulate games from older consoles like N64, Snes/Genesis, and PSX I went gaga over it! Imagine playing Final Fantasy 8 and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night while on the ride on the way to whatever! The thought of that just totally thrilled me. Thrilled enough to make me wanna buy one! ;p Forgive my "nerdness" but Castlevania was a very memorable game for me specially my Cebu days years ago! :)

I was also planning to buy an iPod ages ago but it never went down. But my point is, who needs an iPod when you have a PSP. The PSP can play music! On top of that, you can use it to play games (duh!), play movies, connect it to the Internet (wherever there's a hot spot), and many other things. Heck, you can even use it to strike a holdaper's head because of its bulk! I've been saving money for this so hopefully I'll get one really, really soon! :)

UPDATE: While browsing YouTube, I stumbled upon this! A Castlevania X Remake! Due out for the PSP! Now this is what I'm talking about for years now! A 2D Castlevania with 3D effects and CG sequences! 3D Castlevanias just plain sucks! Great move Konami! ;p

The LAKERS Won!!

Wow, all the while I thought the LA Lakers will be swept by the Phoenix Suns in the 1st round of the NBA Playoffs! Imagine how surprised I am when they won game 3! As usual, Kobe Bryant carried much of the load by scoring 45 pts, but the deciding factor was how his teammates contributed. Kwame Brown scored 19 pts during the 3rd quarter dominating Amare Stoudemire during the period. Lamar Odom contributed 18 pts. Hopefully, they go all the way and win the series... but that thought, even coming from a Kobe fan, is very IMPROBABLE! Haha! I'll just enjoy it 'til it last! ;p

Apple's Graduation / House Blessing / Birthday Celebration Party

Last Saturday night, I went to Apple's (Taberna) house for the first time. Funny considering that she only lives near (San Mateo) and that she's my friend for years now. Nag invite si Apple because it was their house blessing (they renovated their bungalow house into a whooping three story house!). On top of that, it was also her graduation and birthday celebration!

When I arrived there, I was expecting to see most of our classmates specially the 2006 CSB batch. To my surprise, it was only Bless (Cadiz) and I who went! The others are from the CSA batch, mga shifters. Hehe! Sina Alvin, Aeus, Ian, Ardi (Apple's "twin brother") and Kristel. I know these guys but only Alvin and Ian are the only ones I can say I REALLY know. Hehe! It was still fun though and I got the chance to bond with them. :)

Pag dating sa party, we ate first (buffet! sosyal! haha!). Then kwentuhan here and there. Around 9pm, most of the bisitas already left. Apple and her bf, Mike (an all around nice guy!) went on to buy beers! Grabe, bumili ng 2 case ng San Mig Light and 1 case ng Red Horse! Ok sana kung marami kami pero konti lang kaming uminom! Kahit ako konti lang ininom ko, mas marami pang ininom si Bless! Haha! Yung masaya lang eh when we started at around 10pm, tuloy tuloy yung kwentuhan hanggang 6am! Hahaha! Ang saya talaga! Laugh trip, kwentuhan, laitan (bwahaha!), takutan (si Bless sumigaw nung hinaplos ko sa likod! haha!) Ika nga, from dusk til dawn talaga! ;p

It was nice to be with these people. I was expecting to see more of my batch mates but it happened that only Bless and I who went. It was still great though because I had the opportunity to get to know more people specially Mike, Aeus, and Ardi. :)

dom moved out today...

My VERY good friend Dominique (David) moved out today, changing her address to Katipunan. Naturally, I feel very sad. The first time she told me a month ago that she was moving out of Filinvest 2, it haven't sunk in to me just yet. But now that it's all true and through, I just feel SO sad. She texted me earlier this morning and confirmed that she will be moving out today. :( There was a sense of loneliness in me. I always hate when people leave. Ever since I was a kid, I never took goodbyes nicely. It always depressed me. Maybe that was the reason that I didn't go to her house to bid her goodbye. :( Baka maiyak lang ako! Haha! There's that feeling kasi na hindi ko na siya pwede makita kung kailan ko gustuhin. Napaka accessible kasi dati because magkalapit lang talaga yung house namin. If I feel like I want to see her or if I need to get/bring something to her, she's just a walk/drive away. But now, shit... dadayo pa ako ng Katipunan! Haha!

Dom moving out means a lot to me since she's someone I've grown to be with. To be frank, I can say that I grew up with her. Five years is long enough to know someone deeply specially if you're barkadas, seat mates (cheat mates! haha!), thesis mates (the pain!), gimmick buddies (good times!), chat buddies (blame thesis and chismis as well other nonsenses!;p), chismis buddies (haha!), and confidantes. Malamang since we're kapitbahays, sabay kami umuuwi. I can say that I've grown comfortable with her.

Well, sa friendship hindi naman palagi nalang masaya. Of course may times rin na nagka-misunderstandings at tampuhan rin kami ni Dom pero sobrang maliit lang talaga! Oo na, aaminin ko na na nagtampo ako sayo nung birthday ni ED!!! Tagal tagal kasi kumilos! Hahahaha! Pero sa mga small things lang like that ako nagkakaroon ng tampo kay Dom. Almost 99% of the time nagkakasundo kami! :)

So, with all said and done, losing someone like that (meaning: I won't get to see her as much now since she's moving out) is a big thing to me. I can almost relate to the song "Bluer Than Blue" minus the romantic overtone. Like I should be glad na wala nang pupunta dito sa house at uubusin yung mga chocolates ko! Hahaha! Just kidding! I share everything I have with her. She is like a 'brother' to me-- the living testament of a platonic friend, and she knows it. I really shouldn't be sad... she's just moving out for god's sake! It's not like she's moving out of the country or something! I think I'm just overreacting! Haha! I can only tell her as much as to take care of herself, and sana makahanap siya ng neighbor na kasing cute at gwapo ko! Wahahaha! Ingat pre! Kitakits nalang! :)

the long walk

I've been seeing a lot of my old highschool buddies this past week. Monday was Wrestlemania 23. I met up with Richard (Villareal) to watch it in SM Megamall. Tagal na kasi naming plan yun. So yun, nuod ng wrestling, food trip, xbox 360 in Richard's house... after which I'm all broke! Come Wednesday, Richard texted me again. Tuloy na raw yung XBOX tournament with Chicco (Flores)! Eh gusto ko talagang kalaban si Chicco, so kahit wala akong pera that day, GO pa rin sa house ni Richard (which is in Kapitolyo, Pasig by the way)! So yun, andun rin pala si Verge... ang saya kasi minsan lang kami nagkasama sama uli. Kwentuhan about highschool life, wrestling talks, videogame talks, thrash talks, kwentuhan about girls... basta kwentuhan like what a typical guys hang out would be! I really enjoyed to be with these guys again. Nauna umuwi si Verge since susunduin niya pa yung GF niya. Sa sobrang enjoy namin, umabot kami ni Chicco hanggang 1am sa house ni Richard! Haha! Eh commute lang kaming dalawa... so yun late na kami nakauwi talaga!

Eto yung matindi, when I reached Sandigan/Batasan, wala nang taong sumasakay sa mga tricycle! Eh for a tricycle to leave, kailangan puno na... kung hindi, kailangan mong bayaran yung kulang. Since I'm broke (As in! Seven pesos lang yung nasa pocket ko nun! Tumakas lang kasi talaga nung umaga eh para lang makasama sa tournament!) hindi ako makaalis sa terminal ng tricycle! It's like 2am and I'm still there! As in kahit jeep walang dumadaan! Yung ginawa ko, nilakad ko hanggang sa bahay namin! Haha! From the tricycle station to our house, it's like the doubling the length of Shangrila-to-Galleria! It's not that far since I've taken farther walks before (try Fairview to Sandigan! Oha!!! Hehe)! The only problem on my mind before taking that walk was... the danger! Batasan is known as a hoodlums haven! Maraming nababalitang napapatay at nahoholdap! So taking that walk at 2am is really something! Haha! Well, I'm still alive so it means I've made it home safely! ;p

So the moral of the story?! I won't ever go out that late again without a car with me! And if I do go out without a car, I'll make sure I'm fully loaded with money so I can hail a taxi!!! Touche! Haha! 'Til next time! ;p

Talk about a surprise! Friday night I was writing about how I missed my friends and all that, then the next thing I know, I was with them the next day! It was my big sister Katrina's birthday yesterday. Dale's birthday, on the other hand, was last March 22 but he decided to celebrate it here in my house. Hindi na kasi ako nakakasama sa mga lakad so they (Bakal Soc) decided to hold the party here on my house.

We were supposed to go swimming eh nawili sila sa paglalaro ng Tekken 5, nasarhan tuloy kami ng clubhouse pool. Instead, we just went to plan B to just drink our hearts out, old school inuman and kwentuhan! It was great! I really enjoyed the night. Mejo naparami yung inom pero tama lang! It's so nice to be with my friends again! Almost all of Bakal Soc was present. Ed, Dale, Pilep, Oninz, Mark and Dom was there. Everyone with the exception of Jem, Drey, and Pay. Haay, miss ko na yung tatlong yan! Hehe. Jeff, Dom's boyfriend was also present... as well as Dom's bro Joel.

The most pleasant surprise perhaps was Rica! Grabe nagulat talaga ako! Yeah, I know she's been telling me a lot about visiting me here on my house and surprising me, but I thought it was all bluffs! Alam ko kasi na she have bad memories here in Filinvest 2 so I thought na she won't come. She proved me wrong! On the middle of a Tekken battle with Pilep, a car suddenly stopped in front of our yard and honked. When I looked out, it was Rix!!! I was so surprised that I didn't even notice that I was just wearing boxers shorts! When I recovered from my brief sudden lapse, I ran to my room and got dressed! Hahaha! Nakakahiya talaga kay Rix because I haven't taken a bath yet during that time! Feeling ko tuloy ang dugyot dugyot ko nung humarap ako sa kanya! Waaah! Kakahiya! Hehe! Rix told me only Ed knew she was coming. Damn Ed, so sly. Haha. I also met Rix's sisters. It turns out that a relative of theirs died and that she and her sisters were supposed to go to a funeral. Umalis na tuloy siya kaagad. Parang lumabas eh dinaan lang ni Rix yung ice cream. It would've been nicer if she stayed longer.

Another thing, yung ice cream ni Rix. I've hidden it in the freezer without even saying a thing about it. Grabe, nung inuman na may nagpaparinig sa akin na "gusto niya raw ng ice cream"... kasi "may chismax daw siya na may nagbigay ng ice cream"! That person is no other than Dom!!! Haha! Malakas sumagap talaga ng chismis yang si Dom kaya napilitan na lang ako na i-share yun ice cream sa kanya! Hehe! Buti nalang at lasing na yung iba! ;p The "party" ended at 4am, I think. Everybody was drunk and sleepy. So off to bed we go. When I woke up, kailangan na raw nila umuwi. So hinatid ko nalang sila sa gate.

It's nice to have friends like these people. They know I'm not doing well emotionally, so they make themselves available just for the sake of cheering me up and keeping me company. These people, these friends... they are what I call my true and greatest treasures. I can't ask God for more. :)
