What's up

I've been busy these days with so many things to do. Never had time to blog about them so pili nalang yung mga post ko. Here's a couple of noteworthy events:

DFA rush
Last week, Dale called up. Nagpapasama sa DFA because he needs to re-new his passport (AHA! Asking him where he's going, I was 'surprised' to hear (well, i acted surprised.. "someone" told me about it beforehand na kasi! hmmm haha!) that he is leaving for Brunei on a company project for a minimum of 6 months! And an extension was highly probable daw, so medyo matagal tagal mawawala ang nigga natin! Haha!

So with that, Dale asked me if I can accompany him to DFA. It happens that my sister also needed to renew her passport so the timing was good. Thank god we still have some connections inside that we we're still able to make use of the courtesy lane.

By Friday last week, we went. Picked up Dale from Mcdo Q.Ave and the three of us were off to DFA. Buti naman at hindi ako nawala! Haha! Yung badtrip lang this time is that the one helping us, itago nalang sa codename na "Bembol", was a little bit snotty! Hahaha! But it was alright.. he still helped us naman eh.

After processing the papers, Dale and my ate were sched for an appearance on Monday the following week. We're now off to go. I was supposed to go to UST muna for a transcript copy pero it was SUPER traffic! Buti nalang medyo alam ko na yung lusot sa UN Avenue towards Nagtahan, thanks to Che and Ade (back when we watched 'Hairspray' a couple of months ago! haha). And I was panicking since my gas was at empty! As in nag-light na several times yung gauge. Thank god there was a Petron station near by at hindi kami natirik. Haha. Eventually, I decided to cancel the UST trip nalang so binaba ko nalang yung ate ko sa Q.Ave (she wants to go home na) while I gave Dale a ride 'til Santolan. I dropped by Greenhills kasi to meet up with my pal, Richard.

Then came Monday and we had to come back. Ed slept over the house and needed to leave early in the morning, so maaga kami umalis. I gave him a ride 'til Araneta Ave. where he told me na madali na raw sumakay doon. Sasaglit kasi muna ako ng UST for the transcript. Turns out, hindi pa pala tapos yung mga transcript copy so I had to wait 'til May pa raw. Eventually, he came and we're off to DFA. It was faster this time around. They just showed up for the appearance, pay the fees, then we're off! Pina-mail nalang nila yung passport para there's no need to comeback to DFA pa. :)

About nigga leaving:
Goodluck! Hahahaha! ;p

Ed is back in the country
Finally, Ed went back for a vacation! Tsk tsk, Che talaga wrong info!! JOKE! Hahaha!

So yun, he is staying over his Kuya's place in Caloocan. He was so busy last week going out with Les, and of course, spending time with his family (his kuya, and his sister-in-law's family). So nakapagyaya nalang siya last Sunday lang. Kitakits daw sa Greenhills!

6pm pa ang meeting time so I wanted to sleep the day away. Alang hiya, nawalan tuloy ako ng sleeping time! Hahaha! ;p

Hahaha! I decided that we leave the house early para makahanap ng parking--alam niyo naman ang Greenhills, pamatay ang traffic and parking. Also, I wanted a little bit of time para makatingin ng toys! Hahaha!

Eventually, past 6pm na... and Ed, Pilep, and Che was in Starbucks na. Chuding eh! Hahaha! We went on to meet with the three in Starbucks shortly after..

After a brief kwentuhan, we went to Le Ching for dinner! Favorite ni Mark and Ed yan eh.. I remember nung college, everytime pumupunta ng GH, diyan talaga nagyayaya kumain yung dalawa. Hehe. Drey and Armand (drey's bro) followed later... so did JL and Jeff (drey's hs barx). Ed treated dinner much to my surprise--akala ko kasi KKB. Hehe.

Pagkatapos nun, we decided to have some beer at Gerry's Grill. Tamang tambay at kwentuhan lang, just like old times! I think we stayed there until 12am! :)

It's been a while since we went out like this, tapos hindi pa makumpleto. Dom is now in Las Pinas and is busy with work; si Oninz naman ang daming palusot; Jem was grounded; Myk was still in Tagaytay during that time; Mark is still in SG together with the vacationing Donna.. the list goes on. Hehe.

But one thing to look forward to is this coming Saturday! Mark will be arriving this Friday, so si-net na this Saturday ang grand get together! Daming icecelebrate eh: Ed and Mark's homecoming; Che's, Donna's (AND BIRTHDAY... AND DESPEDIDA--she's off to the states!! --kaya TRIPLE celebration niya!! mas engrande ang blowout!! thanks donna!! hahaha!! ;p), and my graduation; Dale's birthday (nung march pa 'to ah!! hehe).. I'm sure sobrang saya nitong day! Hopefully everyone could come! Tamang tama, long weekend pala this week.. nice! ;p

Crank: High Voltage

Starring: Jason Statham, Amy Smart
Directed by: Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor

The movie starts right where the first one left off. Chev Chelios, fighting the poison injected to his body to stay alive long enough to exact revenge, finally gets his enemy cornered in a helicopter. The fight led them to drop into a free fall unto the streets, with Chelios' body dropping on a passing car. Suddenly, a couple of guys suddenly swoops in, recovers Chelios' seemingly dead body, and leave before police could get into the scene. Next thing you know, Chelios is being operated on, his heart ripped out of his chest, and was replaced with an electric one. Chelios wakes up, 3 months later, obviously angry and hell bent on recovering his heart! Chaos ensues!

I really liked the first movie as it was over the top, funny, and just freaking violent! Haha! This sequel is THRICE the first! Definitely more over the top, VERY violent, TITS every scene! Hahaha! And I have to say, I liked the movie! I still like the first one better, but this one have its own moments that will surely make you laugh out loud!

It's just pure chaos! Puro kalokohan! I guess if you didn't know what to expect before you watch this movie, you won't like it. Alam ko kasi na puro kalokohan at violence lang kaya naka-set na ang utak ko na not take it seriously! Haha! And I liked it. I just don't know if Che and the others liked it as much as I did! Hehehe!

It's filled with psychadelic camera angles, unusual movie editing, and over the top scenes. Read: casual movie goers will probably not like it. As I've said, you should know what to expect before you watch this movie. It's a homage to videogames kaya over the top yung mga scenes, and lahat puro kalokohan. And the movie was great because it doesn't take itself seriously! Haha! Score:8/10

--------------------------------------------------------

Che, Pilep, Myk, Malcolm and I watched the movie last Saturday in Trinoma. I wanted to try Che's new product kasi, the Anion Pads. My sis kasi wanted to try it since she heard great things about it. So yun, sinabi ko mag movie night narin. Kaso yun nga, kami lang ang nakapunta. Jem had dinner with her family; Dale was in Puerto Galera; Donna was doing errands; Oninz suddenly couldn't make it... the list goes on. Myk came from work, and Malcolm (Myk's bro) was there since noon because he had a date. Hehe.

A little later, Drey came. He didn't go with us to watch Crank though as he was with Jeff, JL, a friend, and Guia! Guia is a surprise though since she's now staying in the states. Buti naman na she could stay for a year, at nakumpleto na naman ang HS barx ni Drey! :) I think they watched that Zac Efron movie.

Ooohhh, Zac Efron! Hahaha!

holy week - caysubic resort

My vision was blurry, my heartbeat was racing! Suddenly, I told my mom: "Ma! Step on the gas!" As I was stuck in the car, I just don't know what the future holds. "Will I make it?", I asked myself as I gazed ahead of the road, hopelessness seeping in as I can only see trees and woods as we sped by.

And as my mind would seem to give up, I breathe deeply just to gain strength to hold on. A while later, again I spoke: "Malapit na ba tayo!?"

A glimmer of hope shined through when, finally, I saw the Puerto Azul gate! "We're near! I can make it!", I told my weakened self as we passed by. Deep down, I knew I can only hold on for a few more minutes. Only a few mortals could do this!

As we reached the Caysubic resort, I ordered the vehicle for a complete stop! This is it! I gathered up all my strength, all what's left of it, and moved myself out of the car! I just knew that I won't make it if I just walked... I needed to RUN! And so I did.

I could feel my legs shake as I took each and every step. My sweat, glittering on my face as I tried my damnest to hold this evil...

And as fate would have it, I got lost! I took the wrong turn! This isn't where the cabin is! All hope is lost, as I felt the evil nearing to get out! Resistance is futile...

But alas, I didn't give up! Breathe in, breathe out. Second wind, if you must. I gathered myself and went back the route, then took the other turn. I prayed to the heavens that I took the right path this time around. Every step I took was unreal, as each one seemed like a fight, a struggle... a battle to hold on!

Finally, I reached the place! I slowly crept the door just to make sure I was on the right cabin. There, I saw my sister sleeping on the couch! "Victory!", I proclaimed to myself. Only a few steps more steps and I can claim this battle!

I quickly entered the cabin and proceeded to the left... the bathroom! I untied my shorts, then finally... finally, I knew I am victorious!

I sit on the toilet bowl and proceeded to take a dump! "Success!", I sighed as I wiped the sweat on my forehead!

Hahahaha! Hahaha! Nangyari kasi, nagyaya si papa mag joyride, so pinasama ako. Hehehehehe! So I told my mom na najejebs na ako at kailangan na namin bumalik sa resort ASAP! Hahaha!

Hahahaha! Tapos mali pa yung napasukan kong daan, akala ko talaga lalabas na yung jebs ko during that time. Hahahahahahaha!!!!

Enough of the shit talk. Hahaha! About the Holy Week vacation, it was great naman. Dami lang ng lamok this time around. We stayed there in Caysubic from Thursday to Saturday (April 9-11). There's more people this time around though, given its the Holy Week. The beach scenery was great, yun nga lang ang daming jelly fish this time so hindi na talaga ako naligo. Relax nalang ako sa balcony the whole time.

And the food? The food was fucking expensive, as usual. 5-star expensive! Just don't expect the same 5-star quality! Hahaha!

All in all, we felt relaxed. Caysubic is still that secluded beach resort where you can get away into and leave outside world troubles for a while. Seclusion to the maximum level. Aaaah.

No cable TV though, so when it was night time and was bored as hell, I turned to my PSP. I also randomly brought a TV series compilation with me, and it happened to be Densha Otoko (an otaku geek who fell in love with a hot chick, so he turns to his internet forum friends for advice on how to hit on the girl! hahaha!). It was great watching it again! Haha! ;p

Overall, the trip was relaxing. Nothing beats sleeping on a seaside house. ;)

SG Luge pic

I forgot to post this Luge pic that Ed sent me a few weeks back. This is the Luge ride from Sentosa. Zoom in on the pic and look at Ed's face! Halatang kinareer yung racing eh! Gigil na gigil yung mukha! Gusto talaga manalo! Hahaha!
